Charles has been introducing Yoga and Meditation into the corporate culture of America since 1991. He has worked with companies including: 3M, IBM, Apple, Sematech, Motorola, Texas Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Assoc., Texas Alliance for Worksite Wellness, and Texas Workers Insurance.

In September of 1997 Charles MacInerney helped found the Heart of Business, a non-profit organization working to help companies integrate spiritual values into their organization. In May of 1998 he was the conference coordinator for the highly acclaimed Heart of Business Conference, a three- day conference held at the Austin Convention Center featuring Margaret Wheatley and David Whyte.

In May of 2000 Charles was the keyote speaker for the 3M Awards Banquet for Innovation, and spoke on "The Art of Innovation."  

Charles presented at the 3rd Annual Southwest Yoga Conference on "Devotion in the Workplace" and served on the Advisory Board for the conference.
