Registration
fee is $1800 (U.S.) per person.
Alumni from previous retreats with Patricia and
Charles can take $100 off of their registration.
Fee includes: lodging, meals, classes, workshops,
handouts, and materials/supplies.
Participants will be responsible
for arranging transport to Guatemala City and cab fare from
the airport to nearby Antigua. In Antigua we will all share
a private bus to the Lake, and a private water taxi to the
retreat center. Participants are also responsible for any
optional extra expenses like excursions, shopping, or Massage
Therapy.
Registration is limited, so be

Participants are responsible for arranging
for, and paying their own roundtrip transportation to Guatemala
City Airport, and taxi to Antigua, where you will be met by
either Patricia or Charles. Villa Sumaya will arrange for
transportation from Antigua to the retreat center, and participants
will reimburse Villa Sumaya for those costs.
Guatemala City has an international airport
and is easy to access. Please try to book your flights as
soon as possible. It is often difficult to find tickets if
you wait too long.
Another option to consider is flying on one
of the Latin American Airlines. For information on these flights

There are also lots of on-line travel sites
that provide discounted ticket sales. If you want more information

Please contact Charles prior to booking
flights to discuss options for meeting up at the airport,
or making your own way to the retreat center.
Please note if you are unable
to arrive one day early, then in order to make the last water
taxi from Panajachel to the retreat center on Saturday, you
will need to find a flight that arrives at Guatemala City airport
no later than 2:40 p.m.on Saturday. We recommend planning to
arrive a day early on Friday, and spending an extra night in
Antigua.
In planning your return trip,
keep in mind that you will have a water taxi ride from the retreat
center to Panajachel, followed by a 3 1/2 hour drive to the
airport, and then 2 hours for check in, so the later in the
day the better. If you left the retreat center at 8 a.m. you
could be at the airport by noon, and make a 2 p.m. flight.
In the event that you have trouble finding
a flight into Guatemala on the first Saturday of the
retreat, or out of Guatemala City on the last Saturday of the
retreat, that will work for you, the retreat center has offered
to help you find the right hotel for you in Antigua, based upon
your preferences for - affordability, comfort, convenience,
charm, etc. This way you can arrive a day early or leave a day
later if that helps. Just let me know and I will put you in
touch with them to work out details.

Transferring
your Registration to a 3rd party: In the event that
you cannot attend the retreat but know of someone who can take
your place, you can transfer the full amount of your fees paid
to the 3rd party without penalty, on condition that we are notified
promptly by both parties of this transaction. In the event that
you received an early registration discount price we will honor
that with the 3rd party, however, other discounts such as Alumni
or work/study discounts will not apply to the third party.
If you cancel with more than 60 days notice prior to
the retreat: Your deposit will be forfeited but the
balance of your fees paid will be refunded to you. If you are
able to register for a different international retreat with
us, your deposit, less $100 for administrative costs, can be
transferred to the new retreat.
If you cancel with less than 60 days notice prior to
the retreat and we Cannot fill your place: You will
forfeit the entire fee paid. If you are able to register for
a different international retreat with us, your deposit will
be forfeited, however, the balance of your fees paid will be
transferred to the new retreat.
If you cancel with less than 60 days notice prior to
the retreat and we Can fill your place:You will forfeit
your deposit but we will refund the balance of fees paid. If
you are able to register for a different international retreat
with us, your deposit, minus $100 administrative fee, will be
applied towards the new retreat.
If we cancel a retreat: we will refund to you
all funds you have paid to date for that event.
