SCHEDULE - MEALS
Domingo
will be our chef for the week, and is adept at cooking
wonderful vegetarian meals. The retreat center has operated
as a hotel for many years, but now specializes in catering
to yoga and meditation groups.
For those who request it, fresh fish from the lake can be included in the menu.
The cooks and staff are eager to please and will work around most dietary restrictions. Coffee and hot water for tea is available all day long.
Domingo is assisted in the kitchen by two local girls from neighboring villages.
The Lake is surrounded by a dozen villages and towns, all connected by the water taxi's which circle the lake regularly taking people from one village or town to another.
Meals can be taken in the dining hall, or if you prefer, sitting on the verandah shown at right. The Lake is every present, and almost every room or patio has a view of either the lake, a volcano, or more often than not, both! .
