Relaxing On Retreats in Yelapa

Many participants choose to spend their free time relaxing in the gardens around the retreat center. At left, Lu, our yoga teacher from London for the February 2000 retreat poses on top of a rock that serves as the perfect little get away to nap, read a book or meditate.

At the Right, Barbara relaxes in a sunny spot in the grass.

Max, a veteran of 3 retreats in Yelapa can often be found relaxing in one of the many hammocks.

After participating in the first two Mexico Retreats we offered, Max returned in February 2000 to the Yoga & Writing Retreat as a facilitator, assisting Patricia Lewis with the creative writing component.

The gardens of Los Naranjos make a wonderful setting to relax with a book, or do some journaling.

Below, Hesha (November 1999 retreat) has found her perfect chair. This photograph was taken while visiting Isabella, a local artist who rents out palapas to visitors. This chair is hanging in the upstairs bedroom of one of Isabella's Palapas, and features breath-taking views of the bay.

Blake, our regular massage therapist for the February Mexico retreats stays busy in her outdoor studio.
